With the Samsung TV itself

- It’s not a smart TV.
- You’re having an internal glitch.
- The app is incompatible with your device.
You can just download Peloton directly on it. And this is how you can do so:

For a deep dive into what Peloton on your TV can do…
This video should explain everything well:
Cast your smartphone
However, what if, for some reason, you can’t install apps on your Samsung?
It happens. Fortunately, your TV’s not a lost cause.
First, try fixing your TV issues with a power cycle.
This is a type of restart that allows your TV to remove all charges left on it…
Thus, eliminating any stuck processes and tasks that might’ve caused the issue on your TV.
And here’s how you can do a power cycle on your TV:
- Turn it off and unplug it from the socket.
- Don’t do anything for 30 seconds.
- Put everything back together and turn your TV on.
If that worked, well done…
But if it didn’t, then proceed to my next recommended option:
Use your smartphone to cast the Peloton app to your Samsung.
Truthfully, Peloton on phones isn’t much different than Peloton on smart TVs anyway…
After all, you’ll still have access to your favorite workout routines on the phone.
Mirror a smartphone to your TV using these steps:
For Android smartphones
- Open the Peloton app.
- Go to the Settings menu on your phone.
- Head to Connection & Sharing.
- Press Cast or Screencast.
- Toggle Cast on.
- Select your Samsung TV from the list of devices available.
- Switch back to your Peloton app.
Note: Different manufacturers make Android phones. This means that these directions might not apply to yours. However, the steps to cast your phone should still be similar.
For iPhones
First, you must ensure that your Samsung TV is AirPlay 2 compatible.
As of 2021, here’s the list of all compatible Samsung TVs.

- Select Screen Mirroring.
- Choose your TV from the list of devices.
- Once you see your iPhone’s display on the Samsung, open Peloton.
Connect your phone directly to the TV
Now, what if you’re not a fan of wireless connections?
Luckily, you can establish a connection between your TV and a phone using the HDMI port.

Got those? Now, follow these steps to share the display on your phone to the Samsung TV:
