Step #3: Factory reset your phone

Factory Reset Your Phone

Lastly, if neither step worked, your last resort is to factory reset your phone.

In case you don’t know what that means…

A factory reset means erasing all data on your phone. This will include:

  • Downloaded media.
  • Accounts and personal information.
  • Settings configuration and preferences.
  • Glitches, errors, and potential malware.

And, of course, this will also remove the cache of all your apps.

If you’re OK with proceeding with deleting all your data, this is how you factory reset a phone:

Note: Before resetting, it’s a good idea always to back up your data. This way, you can quickly recover any important information if you need it.
